Subaru DriverFocus®
DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System uses a dedicated camera to monitor your eye and head position while driving and alerts you if it senses you are distracted, begin to nod off, or take your eyes off the road. DriverFocus is only operational when you are driving and can be disabled with the touch of a button.
All-Around Awareness Technologies

- Blind-Spot Detection uses sensors to detect vehicles in your blind spots. It engages a visual indicator in the corresponding side mirror to alert you.
- Lane-Change Assist uses sensors and side mirror indicators if another vehicle is rapidly approaching as you’re signaling a lane change.
- Rear Cross-Traffic Alert uses radar sensors to detect traffic approaching from the sides as you are backing up and notifies you with audio and visual indicators.

LATCH, or Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children, is an automotive industry-wide system created to make it easier to install child safety seats. The rear seats of your Subaru family SUV are equipped with special anchors that attach to hooks and a strap in your child’s rear- or forward-facing car safety seat.
Rear Child Door Locks
Each of the rear doors of your Subaru SUV are equipped with child safety locks. When the lever on each door is in the “lock” position, the door cannot be opened from the inside—only from the outside. This feature is designed to help prevent kids from accidentally opening the door while the car is in motion.
