Subaru is dedicated to supporting those who need it the most because we believe our communities get stronger when everyone is cared for.
To work toward this goal, we have partnered with many organizations over the years dedicated to helping our neighbors. Our current Subaru Loves to Help® partnership is with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. This partnership amplifies our continued support for individuals and families in urgent need.
Subaru and our retailers visited local homeless shelters and support agencies at the beginning of this year to provide children with brand-new necessities like coats, shoes, and socks.
These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, they can also have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being. Access to these necessities often determines whether a child attends school or participates in activities. No child should have to face these circumstances.
That is why Subaru is proud to be the largest automotive supporter of Operation Warm.
More than 140,000 children provided with brand-new coats, shoes, and socks in 2026.
Over 430,000 children supported over our three-year partnership with Operation Warm.
Over 1 million children and adults in urgent need helped nationwide through historical Subaru Loves to Help efforts.

Operation Warm is a national nonprofit that manufactures brand-new high-quality coats, shoes, and socks for children in need. Just as their tagline states “More than a coat®,” Operation Warm focuses on the whole child, providing warmth, confidence, and hope basic-need programs that connect under-resourced children to the community resources they need to thrive. In their 26 years of service, Operation Warm has helped over 7 million children across more than 4,000 communities.
Subaru is the largest automotive supporter of Operation Warm, helping more than 430,000 children together so far.
Subaru is the largest automotive donor to Meals on Wheels America. Together with our retailers, we’ve donated and delivered more than 5.2 million meals.
Subaru and our retailers helped donate 150 million meals to Feeding America.
Subaru is a partner member of the American Red Cross 365 program, enabling the American Red Cross to provide comfort and hope when it's needed most.
